Across the country, cities are inspired by NYC.  In 2018, San Francisco and Newark passed Right to Counsel and in 2019, Cleveland, Philadelphia and Santa Montica passed Right to Counsel! We are working closely with tenant organizing groups, advocacy groups and legal services providers in cities across the country who see RTC as a tool to build tenant power in their cities as well. 

National Resources:

• See our RTC Campaign Toolkit, which we developed with the help of Take Root Justice, to tell the story of how we won as well as to provides tools, templates and activities for organizers in other cities to use in their campaigns.
• As the demand for a renter's Right to Counsel grows, we developed a set of Key Principles to help define what a powerful and successful Right to Counsel looks like.  

We are also developing a documentary about our campaign.
